Safe Newborn

Safety is my number one priority.
At less than 2 weeks old, newborns are vulnerable to the world around them. The studio backdrops, props, and accessories are all cleaned and sanitized between sessions. Additionally, your baby needs a warm studio environment, so the studio will be set at their ideal temperature. I also encourage you to relax and watch me throughout the session.
I am also a 15 year veteran physical therapist assistant, specializing in the function and the movement of the human body with additional training with infants and children. I am also BLS certified. Rest assured that your baby is in safe hands.

The Jamie Lynn Photography studio is the ideal photography studio for newborn babies. The space is inviting and relaxing enough for mom, has plenty to do to keep the whole family entertained, and is warm and quiet for the star of the show.
This isn’t your typical cookie-cutter photography experience, though.
Before your picture day, you’ll complete a detailed questionnaire that helps me customize a photography experience to fit your needs and preferences. The studio is stocked with a variety of backdrops and props to suit every style. It’s also one of the only studios in the area that offers both high-quality studio lighting and natural light options.

As you know, newborn babies are unable to regulate their body temperature until they are much older. Therefore, for the safety and wellbeing of your new addition, I do not offer outdoor newborn photography.
All newborn photography sessions are offered in the warmth and privacy of our professional portrait studio, located in Mount Pleasant, MI.
